When packing your box, use plastic bubble wrap for any glass breakables. Put lotions or liquids in plastic zip locks just in case they may break or leak. Put expensive clothing in plastic bags, label and separate gifts into plastic bags for different family members. Don't send glass jars or bottles containing food or liquids during the winter time from northern states USA they can freeze and break don't overfill the boxes making them oversize. Do not send illegal or prohibited items in boxes such as fire arms, gun powder, flammable liquids aerosols etc. Do not overpack boxes to the point they are bulging as these boxes will be rejected.
Tape up your boxes securely using clear wide box tape, We recommend reinforcing all corners of the box, then go completely around the box. We do not recommend using inexpensive duct tape. In the heat of the summer, duct tape will peel off of your your box. If you do use it, it is recommended to go over the top of it with clear wide box tape. Always write your addresses legibly on the box with permanent marker before you tape over it.
On the custom's declaration list you must declare the items you are sending. This will be attached to your box. You should also make a copy of the items you are shipping and put it inside the box for review. You may be required to pay customs duty tax on some electronic items such as cell phones and computers.
